Rampara Wild Life Sanctuary

Marked with fringes Rampara Wildlife Sanctuary is wooded area in an arid zone The sanctuary got the status of Reserve Forest in 1983 the shrubby land covered with patches of grass which harbours large number of species, birds & plants.

The Rampara sanctuary is famous & renowned for the housing of an entire troop of mammoth antelopes, wolf, hyena, common fox, bluebull & approx. 20 more species of snakes are found here. Among the birds, common peafowl are found here. Terrain is plain in the middle of sanctuary & falling elsewhe re. The Sanctuary have closer to tropical deciduous forest, there were Saledi, Kadaya, Timru, Sisam, Babul Khakhra & Gorad were found here before two decades, some trees such as Saledi, Sadad, Timru, Sisham still survive in the central part of sanctuary.
